Registration for 5E Arena Open East Asia and Southeast Asia is still open

5E have opened registration for both 5E Arena Open East Asia and Southeast Asia. The top four teams in both of these divisions will advance to Funspark ULTI Regional Series Season 1 Asia.

The qualifying process for 5E Arena Open East Asia will kick off on March 20-22 and later concluding the event at playoffs on March 23-24. Meanwhile, the Southeast Asia division will start on March 20-22, with the playoffs kicking off on March 25-26. While this competition is free to enter, 5E as the event organizer limited the maximum participants to 128 teams per division. Once the limit has been reached, the registration will be closed automatically.

The qualifying process to Funspark ULTI 2021 will begin this week with the top four teams from each region to advance, as well as to duke it out for a total of US$7,600 prize pool for both regions.

All of the matches in both divisions will be played on the 5E Arena International platform and will feature a single-elimination bracket with best-of-three clashes in the playoffs. East Asia and Southeast Asia divisions will be using Hong Kong and Singapore as the server location, respectively.

The registration dates can be found below:

East Asia (March 15-19):
Group Stage
: March 20-22
Playoffs: March 23-24

Southeast Asia (March 15-19):
Group Stage
: March 20-22
Playoffs: March 25-26

To join the competition, you will need to have 5E Arena International client installed on your computer, then go ahead to the Tournament tab and select 5E Arena Open to your region (East Asia or Southeast Asia). You can follow the instructions on the page to complete the registration.

Lastly, the prize pool will be distributed in the following way:

East Asia:
1st
: US$2,000 + Funspark ULTI Regional RS Season 1 Asia
2nd: US$1,000 + Funspark ULTI Regional RS Season 1 Asia
3rd-4th: US$600 + Funspark ULTI Regional RS Season 1 Asia
5th-8th: US$200

Southeast Asia:
1st
: US$2,000 + Funspark ULTI Regional RS Season 1 Asia
2nd: US$1,000 + Funspark ULTI Regional RS Season 1 Asia
3rd-4th: US$600 + Funspark ULTI Regional RS Season 1 Asia
5th-8th: US$200
