The Survey Results Are In!
In June we asked our CAL community to help us to improve by filling out a questionnaire about their experience in the league. Overall, we were positively surprised to find out that a high percentage of you are happy with the way things currently are. With that said, there are some things that we have identified that we can, and will, improve. The improvements will be implemented gradually starting next season. Exciting times ahead!
Grassroots Cup IV!
Last month we held our first Grassroots Cup tournament in a very long time. With US$500 up for grabs, the two-day tournament featured well-established teams such as such as ARTiSAN Esports, as well as mix teams made up of some of CAL’s best Div 1 players.
After a weekend filled with games, with both semi finals and the grand final streamed CSGO2ASIATV’s Twitch channel, ForteZ emerged victorious after defeating Dark Side in the grand final 2-0 (16-6 on Mirage and 16-7 on Anicent).
As we plan to have our Grassroots Cup series of tournaments run more frequently, Grassroots Cup V is tentatively scheduled to happen early fall this year.
