Four Asian teams will be competing for a prize pool of $40,000 USD at the DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Asia
Last week, the closed qualifier of the DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Asia saw Invictus Gaming and ViCi Gaming secure first and second place, respectively. This has allowed the two teams to move on to the DreamHack Open Summer: Asia which is set to begin tomorrow.
Two other teams that have earlier secured a slot for the DreamHack Open Summer 2020: Asia are TYLOO and Global Esports. TYLOO was invited while Global Esports managed to clinch a spot from their victory at the ESL India Premiership – Summer 2020.
The league will consist of a double-elimination bracket with all matches (excluding the grand final) out of BO3. The grand final will be BO5.
