Last season saw TIGER beat Paper Rex to win the $10,000 first-place prize. In 2021, ESEA returns again with the ESEA Season 36 Open APAC.
It is no secret that VALORANT has seen many Asian CS:GO players migrate to Riot’s new and exciting first person-shooter. However, for those teams committed to CS:GO, we want you to know that Asia-Pacific’s online battleground has returned. ESEA has announced the 36th season for the Asia-Pacific Open division, with the same $180,000 prize pool split across all regions in their article. There is a repeat of last season as the first-place winner will take home US$10,000 while second-place position will win a respectable US$1,000 as well.
