HuatZai (HZ) have announced the addition of 17-year-old Chao “MAD” He to their squad on a trial basis as a replacement for Xu “Roninbaby” Peng.
HZ have been in search of their final puzzle since parting ways with Xu “Roninbaby” Peng starting January 1 this year as his loan has expired from Triumph Song Gaming (TSG). Roninbaby has been part of the Singaporean roster since September 2020, assisting the organization in achieving a variety of results. Of these, the most outstanding was a grand final run at Asian Legend Challenge League, and qualified for the eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020 – Southeast Asia and Hyperion X OEL CS:GO Launch which both of them will kick off soon this month.
Since late December, it is known that MAD was enlisted as a player on a trial basis for HZ. With the move, he will be playing alongside four other experienced Singaporean players containing two ex-B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape players, Leslie “Bobosaur” Soen, and Nevin “splashke” Aw.
During one and a half years journey under the JiJieHao’s flag, MAD attended several events with the Chinese-Russian squad such as the Asian Legend Challenge League, FunSpark ULTI 2020 Asia Qualifier, PAL Summer 2020 China Qualifier, and StarSeries i-League Season 8 Asia Qualifier.
The Chinese player will kick off his stint in HZ at the US$17,500 Hyperion X OEL CS:GO Launch on January 13-17, as well as eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020 – Southeast Asia on January 8-10 with the Singaporean squad. ZIGMA, Paper Rex, and Beyond Esports are the other teams confirmed for both tournaments.
