The second season of the Funspark ULTI 2021 league has begun with 16 of Asia’s top teams competing.
From July 3rd to 20th, the second season of Funspark ULTI 2021 Asia will take place, with sixteen teams divided into four groups fighting for a total of US$15,000 in prize money. The GSL group stage will include all teams, with the top two teams from each group advancing to a single-elimination, best-of-three playoff bracket.
Among the participants are Team NKT with their newly signed Tengis “sk0R” Batjargal, as well as Season 1’s runner-up, Lynn Vision Gaming (LVG). Initially, TYLOO as Season 1’s winner was slated to compete, but the team chose to withdraw, subsequently replaced by NewHappy.

The UAE’s Camel Riders, together with Asking Questions and ZIGMA, qualified through the 5E Arena Open Southeast Asia, while Wings Up, After Gaming, and Enkhtaivan “Machinegun” Lkhagva’s BCO qualified via the East Asia qualifier.
From the Mainland side, Ke “captainMo” Liu has returned to the professional landscape with his new ‘steel helmet’ team, which includes famous names such as former TYLOO members Yue “AE” Yu and Wing Hei “Freeman” Cheung, with Peng “xiaosaGe” Song and Huailiang “KuckerZ” Zhang making up the rest of the squad.
