JBL Quantum Cup 2021 set to start tomorrow

Two invited teams and two qualified sides will face off in the US$25,000 event presented by JBL Quantum. 

The ESL-organized JBL Quantum Cup 2021 features four of the current strongest Asian teams. Checkmate and ViCi Gaming qualified via the open qualifier, while TYLOO and Team NKT were invited straight to the event.

Kicking off on December 18, JBL Quantum Cup 2021’s champions will be determined on the same day. All matchups will play out as best-of-threes in a single-elimination bracket.

TYLOO will kick off the action against their biggest rivals, ViCi Gaming. The second semifinal will see Checkmate up against Team NKT who have been bootcamping together in Thailand since last month, to clash for their own spot in the grand final matchup.  The grand final will follow the same format and take place on the same day at 19:00 PM SGT (UTC+8). 

The complete schedule of the event is as follows:

Saturday, December 18th

15.00 – ?? TYLOO vs. ?? ViCi Gaming
15.00 – ? Team NKT vs. ?? Checkmate
19.00 – TBD vs. TBD (Grand Final)

The full prize pool distribution is as follows:

1. US$12,500
2. US$7,500
3-4. US$2,500
