by Nikhil Hathiramani

The Singaporean team ‘Asking Questions’ joins the ranks of Asian CS:GO teams despite many players making the move to VALORANT. Familiar names such as moxie and Tommy of ex-BOOT.dream[S]cape join the ranks.

The team which is based out of Singapore is owned by Prasad “StrykerX” Paramjothi who is widely considered to be the pioneer of Singaporean Counter-Strike. Asking Questions (AQ) actually has a long history, as explained in their recent Instagram post below. The team compromises of four Singaporean players and one player from India. Ex-OpTiC India & Signify player, Lukas “yb” Groening, will be coaching the team.

Asking Questions most recently participated in the Lenovo Rise of Legion: CS:GO April 2020 where they reached the round-of-32 before getting eliminated. At the time of writing, they are playing in the Asia-Pacific ESEA CS:GO Open Season 34, standing 9th on the leaderboard with 9 wins and 4 losses under their belt.

The team originally planned to set up in Poland for proper practice and scrims. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, they could not go ahead with their intended plan.
