Funspark ULTI 2021 Asia Season 3 playoffs is set to kick off next week following the conclusion of the group stage.
The GSL group stage was held over the course of a week, with each team facing off against each other in a best-of-three setting. Lynn Vision Gaming (LVG) previously pulled out of the event owing to scheduling issues with BLAST Premier Fall Showdown and were replaced by Wing Hei “Freeman” Cheung’s NSN Gaming. New Happy also took the place of Invictus Gaming.
Liberty Walk, AZ Gaming, Yimagen,and NSN Gaming are among the names who just made their debut appearances in the upper-echelon of Asian Counter-Strike. Only the latter team, however, advanced to the playoffs.
The playoff bracket has been determined based on seeding. The action will now shift to higher stakes, with a grand prize of US$15,000, circuit points, and entry into the Funspark ULTI 2021 Asia Season 4 up for grabs.

The first round of the double-elimination bracket will begin with the East Asian representative at the IESF World Championship 2021, Renewal, facing NSN Gaming. The winner of this clash will go on to face the victor of the Team NKT vs. New Happy.
The following day, Wings Up Gaming and The Black Company will square off in a repeat of the eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020 – East Asia finals. The last match of the first playoff round will pit Group D’s top-placed team Checkmate up against After Gaming. QingHui “FIOURN” Kong will be standing in for After Gaming, who are still down with four players after the departure of Yifeng “Yz1” Lin.
The playoffs has been rescheduled to next week due to schedule clashes with IEM Fall and IEM Winter.
The playoffs will begin with the quarterfinals on October 11, followed by the semifinals on Monday the next week and the grand final on Thursday at 5 PM UTC+8 (SGT)
