MESA Nomadic Masters Spring Qualifiers adjust dates

MESA has announced the new play days of the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring Qualifiers, which will run from March 14th to 19th.

MONGOLIA MESA has announced new dates for the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring Qualifiers, which have been set for the third week of March. Furthermore, MESA has decided to replace the exclusive qualifier for South Asian teams with another Asian qualifier, bringing the total number of Asian qualifiers to three. 

MESA Pro Series Spring 2022 will be a qualifier restricted only for Mongolian teams, to be held on March 15th. The winner will receive a direct entrance into the main event of the BLAST qualifier. In addition, Mongolian teams are also eligible to qualify for the main event of MESA Nomadic Masters Spring by playing in the other three Asian qualifiers.

  • Southeast Asian Qualifier #1 – March 14
  • Southeast Asian Qualifier #2 – March 16
  • Asian Qualifier #1 – March 17
  • Asian Qualifier #2 – March 18
  • Asian Qualifier #3 – March 19
  • MESA Pro Series Spring 2022 – March 15 (Mongolian only)
  • MESA League Season 2 (Group Stage) – Team NKT
  • MESA League Season 2 (Playoffs) – IHC Esports (formerly Checkmate)

Scheduled for March 21-27, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring will be the first large-scale international LAN event held in Asia since the pandemic began in early 2020. Eight of Asia’s top contenders will square off in a high-stakes battle for a single berth in the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. Team NKT and IHC Esports are the first two teams that have locked in the main event spots after winning the Group Stage and Playoffs of MESA League Season 2, respectively.

MESA Nomadic Masters Spring will take place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital, in front of a live audience. The tournament organizer aims to fill the 5,000-seat multi-purpose Steppe Arena to capacity.

Other details regarding the event, such as the registration process, have yet to be revealed by the organizer.
