MVP PK have parted ways with Keun-Chul “solo”Kang and Min-Soo “glow” Kim, the South Korean organisation have announced.

MVP PK announced yesterday that two of its core members have parted ways with the organization. The duo, most famed for their careers in CS 1.6, are now free agents, according to HLTV.

Widely regarded as two of the most prominent figures in South Korean Counter-Strike, solo and glow had been in MVP PK‘s ranks since the organization ventured into CS:GO, in mid-2016.

During their tenure with MVP PK, the duo most notably helped the team to win the CS:GO Asia Summit and eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Asia 2018. Other accolades include qualifying for big events in such as IEM Sydney and Chicago last year.

Most recently, the South Korean squad attended the Asia Minor in Katowice, where the team came in fourth place after losing to Grayhound and ViCi in the double-elimination playoffs.

However, despite some success in 2018, a series of disappointing results towards the end of the year and early this year have prompted the Korean organisation to make some difficult changes. It will be interesting to see who is chosen, as it is a known fact that the talent pool in Korea is scarce.

CSGO2ASIA has learned that the organization is preparing to announce the updated roster and we will inform you as soon as we know.

With this announcement, the MVP PK line-up now looks as follows:
