Team NKT have brought Krit “Kntz” Chaiprasit into the starting lineup, replacing Anthony “ImpressioN” Lim who has moved to a substitute position, the organization announced yesterday.
The 24-year-old takes the move to Team NKT’s starting lineup after initially joining the team in August. Previously, Kntz was a part of numerous renowned Thai teams back in the days, including Made in Thailand, NSPR Gaming, ALPHA Red, and Beyond Esports. Kntz made the switch to VALORANT in May together with the rest of ex-Beyond players in Renatus White before returning in August.
“Kntz is now part of our starting roster, his first match will be in the upcoming Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Season 3. In addition, ImpressioN will be transferred to the substitute position while he takes the time off to handle the travel regulations and process in the coming month.” the announcement reads.
ImpressioN has been part of the team since September 2020, when the team was still managed by Thailand-based NG Esports. The Singaporean player was unveiled as the first piece of the ‘Asian superteam’ project. The second half of this year has been an upward trajectory for the organizationless team, climbing first place in the Funspark ULTI 2021 Asia Season 2 and Playoffs #1. Their most recent IEM Winter campaign concluded in a semifinal defeat to TYLOO and a third-place result in IEM Fall Asia.
