Tsog “Tsogoo” Mashbat and company have found a new home at The Black Company.
It is known that Mazaalai has been playing under the name of The Black Company since their first match in the Asian Legend Challenge League. According to TomorrowLAN, the two sides reached an agreement to join the organization that started from December 13 officially.
During their time under the Mazaalai banner, they had gone through a lot of roster changes with many top Mongolian players, including Enkhtaivan “Machinegun” Lkhagva and Temuulen “Zilkenberg” Battulga who parted ways with the team in the middle of this year. To this date, Tsog “Tsogoo” Mashbat is the only player left from the original roster.

However, the squad’s ranking decreased greatly after they performed poorly in several tournaments, including WDNMD Asia Invitational 2020, and FunSpark ULTI 2020 – Asia where they had to settle for last place.
The squad, with no organisational backing, finished as the runner-up in Huya DarkHorse League Season 6 and participated in several online cups. The recent signing of the trio (ncl, yAmi, Magnumz) had caused the team to show some convincing results in their latest competition. Mazaalai made a deep run in Huya DarkHorse League Season 6 by constantly beating their Mongolian compatriots, D13 and w2c. Within only two months of the lineup being together, their results have been promising to become one of the top Asian contenders in the next year.
Their first official game under The Black Company will be against the newly formed “Asian FaZe” NG Esports on December 22 in FunSpark Rivals Pre-Season Group C opening, followed by the next day where they will face Invictus Gaming, who are currently occupying the sixth position in the CSGO2ASIA ranking ladder.
The Black Company‘s roster is as follows:
- ?? Tsog “Tsogoo” Mashbat
- ?? Uuganbayar “neuz” Nyam-Otgon
- ?? Bold “ncl” Batsuh
- ?? Yalalt “yAmi” Oyunbileg
- ?? Telmen “Magnumz” Khurelkhuu
- ?? Temuulen “Shazak” Tsedendash (coach)
