ZIGMA have announced the addition of Kritthee “Geniuss” Sawatmuang to their team to replace longtime member Phakhin “PPOverdose” Jaroenthanajinda, with the latter standing down from the roster.
ZIGMA have announced the departure of longtime member and one of their best performers, averaging a 1.16 rating in the past three months across all official matches recorded by HLTV – also the highest in the team. This ends the player’s one-year-long stint under ZIGMA banner, which started in January of 2020 and saw the Thai team win several local tournaments and international trophies.
With PPOverdose, the Thai team have had an impressive run over the course of 2020 to the very beginning of 2021. Although placing last at the FunSpark Rivals Pre-Season, they successfully bounced back by winning the Asian Legend Challenge League, and placing as runner-up at eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Festival 2020 – Southeast Asia, only losing to Paper Rex in the grand final 1-2.

With the arrival of Geniuss to the roster, Manutsawat “Reality” Sangphadung and Warittorn “RoLEX” Kalanukarn will reunite with their former teammate in Signature. The 22-year-old has been without a team since his departure from Beyond Esports in December of last year, ending his one-month tenure with the Anupong “stk” Mueangngam-led side.
CSGO2ASIA.com reached out to Geniuss on his plan forward with ZIGMA:
“It has been really long and difficult time since I left BTRG and I did not compete in any tournaments where I’ve been missing for a while. Today, I am really glad to announce that from now on, I will be competing in upcoming tournaments with ZIGMA. I am really grateful that ZIGMA gave me the chance to be back in the game and compete in the Asian scene again. Thank you to everyone who has always supported me. I will work harder to be fully ready and prepared for future events.”
