With Lucid Dream comfortably beating D13 in the last season’s grand final. The team has earned themselves a spot in the MDL Global Challenge S33, ESEA has now announced the details for Season 34.
After giving Asian and Australian teams the chance to qualify for ESL Pro League through the MDL Global Challenge last season, ESEA has undone these changes going into Season 34, according to the press release from ESEA.
Season 34 will once again feature $180,000 in prizes. It will, however, operate more like 2020’s training season and will operate similarly to Season 30, i.e. the MDL division will not promote to the ESL Pro League or feature a Global Challenge event and will take place entirely online.
Nonetheless, Asia-Pacific’s online battleground is set to return. What better time to join an online league with your team than now? Registration for Season 34 is open at the link below:
Registration closes on April 20th so don’t sleep on it!
ESEA will release its breakdown closer to the beginning of the season when the number of teams is finalized. If last season is any indication, first place will qualify to the MDL Global Challenge while second place takes home $750.
