by Juandi

Lenovo has announced the registration process for the March edition of its ‘Rise of Legion’ tournament, featuring a US$1,000 prize pool and open format.

Lenovo has announced the details of the upcoming season of its ‘Rise of Legion’ series. Registration for the tournament is currently open on the Lenovo Legion website and will run through March 3. The competition will take place in March, with the exact dates are yet unknown. More details will be informed later by the organizer.

Not much has seemingly changed this time around, as the event will follow the previous Rise of Legion open format, with a best-of-one (BO1), single-elimination series for all matches. The grand final will see a best-of-three (BO3) series.

The last iteration of Rise of Legion was held in May 2020, which saw more than 260 teams take part, witnessed IDKASKUR as the champion. The Singaporean mix-team were able to pull off a 2-1 victory (16-5 on Dust2, 16-9 on Mirage) against the previous iteration of the all-Thai squad of NG Esports.
