OneThree has confirmed the benching of QiFang “Karsa” Su who will be moved to the coach role. Yi “Gas” Ding is reported to be his replacement.
Citing poor results, OneThree has announced the benching of team captain QiFang “Karsa” Su. As a result, Yi “Gas” Ding from Team Aster will be taking his spot in the starting lineup on a trial basis after Team Aster announced their disbanding.
OneThree is not a new name in the Chinese scene, but the team has been struggling recently. Most notably, they failed to qualify for PAL Summer 2020. In addition, poor results at the Weibo cup and Betway Asia Masters meant has prompted the line-up change.
Individually, Karsa has been going through a rough time, posting a 0.85 HLTV rating for the past three months. Therefore, the Chinese organization decided to bench Karsa, moving him, and Zhen “Not7” Dong to a coaching role.
Reports also suggest that JiJieHao player, Zheng Jie “Martin” Zhuo will be joining the OneThree camp, making OneThree a six-man roster with two coaches.
