Funspark ULTI 2021 Regional Series Asia Season 1 viewer’s guide

With Funspark ULTI 2021 Regional Series Asia Season 1 kicking off on Monday, CSGO2ASIA.com presents a comprehensive viewer’s guide with everything you need to know about the US$15,000 tournament.

The Funspark and 5EPlay-sponsored event will run from March 29 to April 11, featuring sixteen teams including twelve East and four Southeast Asian teams to face off for the lion’s share of the US$15,000 prize pool this season. The event will once again bring together East and Southeast Asian teams since their latest event together in January this year at Funspark Rivals Pre-Season.

A best-of-three (BO3) GSL group stage with four teams per group will kick off the competition, with the top two from each group will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will feature a single-elimination, best-of-three (BO3) format up to the grand final. To close it out, The champions will be crowned upon the conclusion on April 11, kicking off at 16.00 UTC+8.

Among the participants are the former Beyond Esports squad who have signed for a new organization from Malaysia, Team LZ. Ex-TIGER have also signed with Renewal three days prior to the start of the East Asian qualifier for the event.
