Tommy joins B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape

written by Nikhil H. 4th July 2017

The Singaporean Team now with a Stable Five

Singaporean team B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape has confirmed the spot left vacant by Alexandre “Alecks” Salle after his departure last month due to personal commitments. After it was announced that Kumaresan “Tommy” Ramani would stand-in for ‘Alecks’, the Singaporean squad has seen remarkable results in the short term, most recently, qualifying for DreamHack Malmö 2017 over Chinese powerhouse TYLOO.

In a statement made on their Facebook page, team captain Anthony “ImpressioN” Lim had this to say:

“After having Tommy with us for the past month playing as a stand-in, everybody from the team could see how persistent he is when it comes to self-improvement. His working attitude is amazing and aptitude for the game is immense. I honestly can not find words to describe just how much he wishes to succeed at the game. Outside of the game he is a kind and caring fella, fun to be around with and I think generally just a good fit to the team. I can’t wait to see how much more he has to offer to the team both as a player and as a friend.”

Kumaresan “Tommy” Ramani is no newcomer in the Singaporean scene, having played with both ImpressioN and splashske at The World Championships 2016. With the confirmation of Tommy on the roster, dream[S]cape now have the following line-up:

  • Harley “dsn” Orvall — Head Coach
  • Anthony “ImpressioN” Lim — Captain
  • Benedict “ßeŋκai” Tan
  • Benjamin “moxie” Kou
  • Nevin “splashske” Aw
  • Kumaresan “Tommy” Ramani
