Beyond Esports announced that they have parted ways with Phoomphat “qqGod” Phojjanart and brought on Kritthee “Geniuss” Sawatmuang in his place, the organization has announced on Facebook.
qqGod had been a part of the roster since March 2020. During his time, he helped Beyond Esports to won 1XeSport CS:GO Challenge 2020 and 188Esports Thailand Championship 2020. In the official statement, the Thai organization expressed that Phoomphat wanted to take a break from the competitive environment and is looking for “new experiences”.
His replacement Kritthee “Geniuss” Sawatmuang is no stranger to the Beyond Esports family, as he joined the team twice between mid-May to December 2018 and 2019 for 6 months. The 22-year-old has now reunited with his former Beyond Esports teammate, Anupong “stk” Mueangngam as they won FPSThailand CS:GO Pro League Season 5 together in late 2018.
After the departure of Geniuss in January 2020, Big Time Regal Gaming (BTRG) signed him for almost half a year until early October when the team decided to disband following alleged breaches of the players’ contracts. After playing outside the Thai scene for quite some time, he will absolutely bring some experiences gained there to his new team.
“Beyond Esports has come to a decision of changing players in CS:GO unit by getting ‘Geniuss’ in replacement of ‘qq’. He wants to take a break from the competition and wants to find new experiences. Although it is quite shocking news to us and to our fans, but we respect his decision and wish he will go well in his path.”

In a quick statement to CSGO2ASIA, qqGod stated that the decision was made by himself as he’s feeling symptoms of stress (burnout). The decision to take a break from competitive CS:GO comes 2 days after they won 188Esports TH Championship 2020 with all five players performing well.
“The organization (Beyond Esports) and my teammates are always been good to me.It was my decision to leave because I couldn’t take the stress anymore, it just keep getting worse and I dont want to be a burden. “
