The 26th season of CAL concluded last week. The overall activity has been at a really healthy level throughout the last two seasons, and during S26 in particular. All this showcases an Asian CS:GO community full of players eager to play and improve, regardless of skill level.
Thanks to our amazing sponsor ZOWIE, we have been able to offer really attractive prizes for the last three seasons throughout Q4 of 2020, which naturally plays a part in players’ willingness to queue up and compete.
In tandem with working on CAL, we just released our new, beautifully updated, CSGO2ASIA site. With its improved design and added functionalities, such as an Asian CS:GO match ticker, we hope that you like it as much as we do.
With the updating of the site keeping us busy, we have not gotten around to writing about, and celebrating, the prize winners from our most recent seasons. So, in an attempt to make amends, here are the best performers from S25 and S26 respectively:
Season 27 and More
The final season of CAL for 2020 is now live. The prizes that our subscribers will be competing for are just as awesome as the previous two seasons, with a ZOWIE XL2546 monitor as the top prize in both Division 1 and Division 2, and $1,000 cash spread across all our hubs divisions. The best way to show us that you like CAL and that you want us to continue to work on improving the soloQ experience for the Asian CS:GO community is by playing.
Furthermore, we have a really exciting thing coming up, which, while not directly related to Season 27, is going to happen in late December. This is something that has been highly requested by a group of players for a long time, so keep your eyes and ears open!
A word about Masters
Since relaunching Masters in October, the activity has by far been exceeding our expectations. We have been getting daily requests from players asking us about how to get into Masters, so we will be devoting a separate article that will hopefully demystify the invitation processes to our most coveted division. We apologize to the players who were confused about this and will explain the process in more detail with the follow-up article.
Finally, a big Thank You!
Finally, we just want to extend a big thank you to all players queuing up in CAL – you guys are truly awesome. Without your continued support, CAL would not be able to exist in its current form. Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the coming days and weeks!

A Word About Our Sponsor – ZOWIE
ZOWIE was founded at the end of 2008. It is a brand dedicated to the development of professional esports equipment. At the time of its debut, there were only three hardworking employees and one product. As there was no “esports” back then, ZOWIE had spent a lot of time gathering, listening, and engaging with competitive gamers/players on the internet, forums, and gaming communities worldwide. That got them into the world of esports.
Fast forward to today, and the BenQ ZOWIE XL series monitors are the most popular gaming monitors to professional gamers around and adopted by world-class tournament organizers globally. It’s not because of the latest technology, or the cheapest price. It was all because of the product’s meticulous design approach, with real player’s insight, development, and testing.
